We at Fellowship Church pursue our vision to be a
Transformational Missionary Community – A body
of believers that is God-led and Holy Spirit-empowered in loving and
serving others.

When we take our place in God's story, we
find the meaning and significance we crave. We discover who we are
and what our lives are all about. We learn just what an adventure
life can be when the Master Storyteller (God) is writing the script
and personally coaching us to contribute our best to history (His
story). In fact, we learn how to impact our world for good through
the power of God's own Spirit at work in us and through us.
Fellowship Church is into being
just such a place of learning, discovery and development. God is good, and the closer we come to
him in relationship, the more we experience just how good life can
be--not necessarily how comfortable or easy, but how meaningful and
joyful life becomes as God lives in us with his Holy Spirit. As
Jesus says, "Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the
only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I say these
things...so that they may have the full measure of my joy in within
them (John 17:3, 13b)."
Fellowship Church is learning what it means to be the family of God
together; what it means to celebrate all of God's good
gifts to his Church; what it means that everyone be equipped to
share in God's mission of love; what it means to work in a high-need
community as a way to transform people and their neighborhood; and
lots more.
Like any learning and growth, ours at Fellowship Church is a
process. Some of it's fun; some of it's painful; some of it's simple
to master while other challenges drive us deeper in prayer to God.
Often we feel like we're plunging ahead in faith, only seeing where
we were going as we look behind us. At times we see miracles happen
and rejoice. Other times, we see nothing and endure. But through it
all, we're learning to trust the God who loves us and who has the
final word in how the story starts and ends.
If you're up for a good story, please join us personally. If you're
interested in learning more, please contact me. I'll be pleased to
share what I'm learning.
